1. Who we are
This website is operated by Onform Ltd trading as Sterling Signs (“Sterling Signs”, “we”, “us”), 55 Druces Road, Wiri, Auckland 2104. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number and site or delivery address.
- Details about your job, such as the products you are interested in, measurements, photos, logos and artwork you send us, and the designs you create in our online design studio.
- Order and payment details when you buy online. Card payments are processed by our checkout and payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- Basic technical information when you use the website, such as your browser type, pages visited and cookies needed for the website and checkout to work.
3. How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes, designs and proofs, and supply and install your order.
- To process payments, send invoices and keep business records.
- To contact you about your job, including scheduling installation.
- To improve our website and services.
- To send you occasional updates or offers, only if you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We only share your information with people who help us deliver your job or run our business, such as our website, checkout and payment providers, couriers, installers and our accountants, and only as needed for that purpose. We do not sell your personal information. Some of our providers may store information outside New Zealand; where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected in a way comparable to New Zealand law.
5. Your artwork
Logos, photos and artwork you send us are used only to produce your job. We may show photos of finished work in our portfolio and on social media; if you would rather we didn’t, just tell us.
6. Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
7. Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. If you are not happy with how we handle your request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
